About Us
Luis "Speedy" Escalante and his wife Felicia are the soul and breath behind Patches for Porters. When the opportunity arose, they bought the company in 2017 from a fellow Aerial Porter. This served as a transition point for Speedy when he returned to San Antonio, TX from RAF Mildenhall, UK due to a freak accident which would force him to do one thing he has never been good at doing: taking it easy. Through a year of rehab and armed with Felicia at his side, the company flourished and hasn't stopped since.
Patches for Porters has been the sole company true to its name: Patches for Porters (by a Port Dawg). Speedy and Felicia understand the military and Aerial Port life and as such, they have continuously supported the community throughout the years. Most notably, they produce the annual Port Dawg Memorial Run (PDMR) and donate $10 from each PDMR sale to the Fisher House Foundation.
As Speedy and Felicia expand their customer base to other branches and career fields in the military, they continue to find ways to support the cause as the fabric of the community. Their strive to provide the best customer service and products for service members and beyond in their most important moments.
