PORT DAWG MEMORIAL RUN FUNDRAISER
Port Dawgs, family members, and friends!
In 2013, the Air Transportation Community started what would become an annual Port Dawg Memorial Run (PDMR) to remember and celebrate the lives of those Port Dawgs who had passed on during the previous calendar year. This run builds on the strong comradery our career field already maintains and reinforces to every airman. When you joined this career field, you join a family. Historically, the run is planned for Transportation week in May. The committee only recognizes those who were serving on active duty status, and their family have approved the use of their name. The name list is not all-inclusive*. If a name is missing it may be due to this.
Units may recognize those who have separated/retired at their own discretion.
* P4P has no control of the names that go on the shirts and hoodies.
Funds raised will go to the Fisher House Foundation
P4P will be making a $10.00 donation from each shirt and hoodie sold (not per order). Plus, all profits from the patch.

The Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. Since its inception, the program has saved military and veterans’ families an estimated $547 million in out-of-pocket costs for lodging and transportation. Fisher House Foundation also operates the Hero Miles program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members. In addition, the Hotels for Heroes program uses donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge. The Foundation also manages a grant program that supports other charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses, and children of fallen and disabled veterans.
